ESS is a boys’ boarding school that started off with two Form I streams in January 2006. Its first Form IV graduands - 31 of them - rolled out at an auspicious graduation ceremony on 24 October 2009. graced by The First Lady, Mama Salma Kiwete, Chairperson of Taasisi ya Wanawake na Maendeleo Tanzania.

Achievements.

NECTA's results confirm the firm path that Eagles Secondary School has taken towards national excelency. With a high GPA score, in 2013, Eagles was ranked 30 (out of 3256) in the Nation and 3 (out of 105) in Pwani Region, just behind Marian Boys and Girls at 1 and 2 respectively, ahead of Kibaha and Baobab at 4 and 5.

A School with a difference
Strong Academics and a vast range of Extra Mural Activities.
We have assembled an exceptionally strong team of teachers and we also place a great deal of emphasis on the all-round development of every member of the school community in cultural and sporting pursuits.
Eagles Boys' is a boarding school with a difference
The boarding concept has thrived at Eagles Boys, where boys are fully occupied at school for the whole period, with regular outings to visit attractive historical and cultural or tourist sites locally or upcountry.
Assessment is a key component of learning
Each student’s progress is assessed regularly, both in quantitative scoresheets and qualitative assessments by his teachers, with reports given to students and parents.

NECTA RESULTS 2012: Excellent performance by our first Form 6

The National Examinations Council website released the 2012 Form VI results in the small hours of May Day. This marks our first ever participation at the highest levels of our nation's secondary school education. Although we were keeping our fingers tightly crossed, we view the results as a resounding success.

Our entrants included 10 of the pioneers who opened Eagles Secondary school in 2006, so this marks our School's "coming of age".Our performance was excellent across the board, with 5 in Div I; 11 Div 2; 38 Div III; 5 Div IV; and 2 Fs, as follows:

1. Science - PCM, PCB, CBG and PGM - Div 1 (5); Div II (4); Div III (22); Div IV (3); Div F (1)

2. Arts - HGL, HGK, HKL - Div II (4); Div III (5); Div IV (1)

3. Business Studies - ECA, EGM and HGE - Div II (3); Div III (11); Div IV (1); Div F (1)

From here we can only get better. We came fourth in Pwani Region (Marian/Kibaha/Minaki) and 131st in the Nation.

Our hearty congratulations to the Headmaster and his academic team as well as all our support staff. We also thank our Advisory Board for its vigilance and constant guidance over the years.

Most of all, the Board of the Bahari Eagles Foundation salutes our flying Eagles, as we look forward to a successful career for them after University.
